Tomes

Tomes are a special type of upgrade that are dropped by bosses, namely Shub-Niggurath, Shoggoth, Hastur and Reaper. They can provide significant advantages to the player, but many tomes also have some disadvantages.

Upon picking up the tome dropped by the boss, the player may choose between 3 of the upgrades listed here.

Tome of Electro		Reload rate +25% Bullet damage -16% When shooting your last ammo, call lightning on enemies nearby for 22 damage.
Tome of Elements		Increase Burn damage, Lightning damage, and Freeze duration by 35%
Tome of Glass		Dodge chance cap -100% All damage you do is doubled. You instantly die from taking any damage.
Tome of Might		Max HP +1 Increase damage by 2 for each Max HP that you have.
Tome of Power		Bullet Damage +50% Bullet Size +100% Piercing +1 Fire Rate -25% Max HP -1
Tome of Rage		Fire Rate +60% Spread +60 Bullet Damage -50% Knockback -95% Triples your base max ammo
Tome of Speed		Move Speed +50% Max HP -1
Tome of Stillness		Walk speed -100% Bullet damage +100% Bullet size +100% Projectiles +1
Tome of Summoning		Summon Damage +50% Summon Attack Speed +50% Reload Speed -50%
Tome of Vitality		Max HP +4 Dodge -25%
Tome of Wind		Move speed +10% All damage is increased by bonuses to your move speed. Damage dealt is decreased by 15%
