Specialize is a character-specific upgrade for Shana that can be offered from a chest that is dropped when an elite enemy is eliminated.

Details

  • Gives 3 copies of the next chosen perk (an Upgrade, a Synergy or a Tome).
  • In Endless: Gives 2n+11 copies of the next chosen perk, where n is the number of Specialize upgrades picked in a row.

Increases the base damage of your Dragon by 45 every 60 seconds

Angelic.png Angelic

Every 500 enemies killed with Smite heals you for 3 HP.

Anger Point.png Anger Point

The bonus is increased to 150%

  • Reload Rate +30%

Ascension.png Ascension

Adds 9 Halo Pieces to the upgrade choices pool. Getting the first 3 will result in a Shana's Halo. Getting every other Halo Piece will also result in a Shana's Halo, for a total of 7 Halos.

  • Automatically kill enemies below 20% of their max HP.

Notes

  1. With Specialize, the game checks 3 times; each time has a 35% chance to inflict Curse. The overall chance to inflict Curse is 100% minus the chance for all 3 checks to fail. The result is:1((10.35)×(10.35)×(10.35))which is approximately 73%.
  2. With Specialize, the game checks 3 times; each time has a 20% chance to refill ammo. The overall chance to refill ammo is 100% minus the chance for all 3 checks to fail. The result is:1((10.20)×(10.20)×(10.20)) which is approximately 49%.

    • When an enemy is inflicted with Freeze, they lose 45% of their Max HP. Elites and bosses lose 3% of their max HP.

  • 0.6.3: Reduced the max HP value of small enemies from 25% to 15%

Trivia

  • In Endless Mode, getting 7 copies of Frostbite will allow you to instantly kill small enemies (Tree included) with a total of 105% health reduction when inflicting Freeze.
    • You can still 1-shot small enemies with only 3 copies of Frostbite, as its damage scales with upgrades such as Tome of Wind and Tome of Might.
