In 20 Minutes Till Dawn, there is a leveling system where the player gains experience by killing enemies to be able to level up. As the player gains enough experience, they will be able to unlock upgrades.
Trivia
- The leveling system, and pretty much the whole game in general, may have been possibly inspired by Vampire Survivors.
