Hina
Hina is one of the selectable characters in 20 Minutes Till Dawn. She has 3 HP and it costs 3150 souls to unlock them.
Ability
Hina's ability allows her to perform a dash in the direction she is moving, leaving behind a clone that periodically damages surrounding enemies. The Shadow Clone does not move and disappears after some time, or when their ability is used again.
Dashing speed is 6x your current movement speed.
Shadow clone stats:
- Damage: Bullet Damage x3
- Fire Rate: 0.5
- Knockback: 15
- Pierce: 99999
- Duration: 6 seconds
The Shadow clone's damage and fire rate benefits from Summon Damage and Summon Attack Speed. Shadow clone counts as a summon while active.

Tips
- The player retains some control of Hina's movement during the dash, allowing for more complex maneuvers.
- The distance Hina is able to dash depends on their current movement speed, so it is a good idea to stop shooting right before performing a dash.
- The ability can be used while Hina is stationary; they will not move but the shadow clone will be summoned, which can be useful when the player is surrounded by enemies.
Sprites
Changeloges
- 0.6.3:
- Hina's Shadow Clone damage increased from x1 to x3 Bullet Damage.
- Fixed a bug that would cause a gun to keep reloading non-stop if canceling out of it with Hina's Dash, which effectively gave the player infinite ammo.
- Fixed a bug that would cause the game to crash if Guardian activated off of Hina's shadow clone.
- 0.6.1: Max HP increased from 2 to 3.
Trivia
- In 10 Minutes Till Dawn, Hina and Scarlett had only 2 HP, making them both the characters with the lowest HP in that game. They were also the most expensive characters, costing 3150 each.
- However, with 20 Minutes Till Dawn, Spark was introduced, the only new character with 2 HP, hence making Scarlett, Hina, and Spark, the three characters with the lowest HP. Moreover, all of the new characters cost 3150 each.
- Later the HP of all characters were increased by 1, making the new lowest HP 3 HP
- After that Dasher was introduced with 2 HP, making them the character with the lowest HP.
- She is one of two characters (Raven is the other) that can deal consistent damage without shooting their weapon.
- This is useful for the Pacifist achievement, but other characters can be used by baiting Sploders into exploding.
