Napalm.png Napalm Bullet Size +30%, Bullet Speed -30%, Your bullets inflict Burn that deals 50% of your Bullet Damage per second.
Cluster Bomb.png Cluster Bomb Grenades explode into 5 smaller Grenades that deal 20% of Bullet Damage. The smaller grenades still damage the player.

Tips

Upgrades to prioritise:

  • Bullet damage
  • Bullet speed - gives you more range which increases safety if the Blast Shield evolution is not chosen
  • Fire rate
  • Reload speed
  • Max ammo
  • Projectile count

Upgrades to avoid, if Blast Shield is not chosen:

  • Piercing - bullets that pierce won't immediately explode on contact
  • Bounce - this will create smaller explosions which can easily damage you
  • Splinter - similar to bounce, this will create additional explosions that can also easily damage you
  • Cosmic Burst - similar to splinter

However, these avoided upgrades can be beneficial, depending on your build:

  • If you have enough bullet damage, you can one-shot enemies that get too close, leaving your explosions to clear enemies behind them.
    • This lets you make use of both the contact damage and the explosion damage.
  • You can use Hina's ability to quickly evade explosive bullets, or tank them with Diamond.

Changelogs

  • 0.6.3: Damage increase from 45 to 60. The grenade laying on the ground now detonates almost immediately instead of after 1.5 seconds.
